Terms & Conditions
A deposit of 30% to secure a booking made must be received by Sea Angling Scotland within 7 days. All deposits are fully refundable in the case of a cancellation due to adverse weather conditions. The deposit can either be transferred to an alternative date if required or a refund of the deposit less a 5% administration charge.

Cancellations of Bookings
Cancellations of bookings must be made in writing, at least 30 days prior to the date of departure. The deposit will either be refunded or at the discretion of the charter party organiser, be carried forward as a deposit to secure an alternative trip. In cases of multiple bookings – monthly trips etc. – Two months notice is required in writing of cancellation of all booked dates and the deposit will be refunded only if the first two dates are rebooked by Sea Angling Scotland.

If the cancellation of a single chartered trip is not made in writing within 30 days prior to the day of departure, or the charterers fail to attend and the boat cannot be rebooked, the full days charter fees less any deposit paid will be charged to the charter party organiser in addition to any recovery or legal costs incurred.

Any shortfall of the number or persons on a particular charter is the responsibility of the charter party organiser. However, we will attempt to fill any places if given enough notice beforehand.

Weather
The assessment of suitable weather conditions is at the sole discretion of the skipper.  Charter party organisers should contact  Sea Angling Scotland  - tel: 01776 820 244 mob: 07501 222 145 between 7pm and 7:30pm on the evening prior to confirm departure times. Should conditions prove unsuitable alternative booking can be discussed at this time.

Mini Cruises
In the case of bad weather trips may be made within the shelter of the loch at the skipper’s discretion. Tours will be of the same duration and the cost will be reduced.

Payment
Balance of the charter fees must be paid in full on the day in cash, unless previously agreed to pay balance by cheque.
All cheques, money orders must be paid in advance and cleared before departure date.

Bait ordered by the charterers in advance must be paid for in the event of cancellation for whatever reason.

Damage to the vessel or breakages to hire tackle will be the liability of the person/s involved and must be paid in full.

Sea Angling Scotland does not accept any responsibility for any cancellations due to weather conditions or any unforeseen mechanical breakdowns which may occur.

Medical
Sea Angling Scotland must be notified in advance of any persons with any form of medical problem or persons under medication. Sea Angling Scotland cannot be held responsible should persons under medication travel on a charter.
